2008 Valentine’s Day Goody Swap ~ with Kailani

Wednesday, January 16th, 2008

Valentine's Day SwapYou all might remember our 2007 Christmas Ornament exchange. Well, Kailani from An Island Life is organizing a similar swap for Valentine’s Day. I enjoyed the Christmas one so much, I’m joining this one too.

Check it out here if you want to join.

One of the rules is to answer the following questionnaire, so here I go.

Questionnaire:
What is your idea of a romantic Valentine’s Day?
Going to a wonderful opera.

In reality, what is your Valentine’s Day really like?
No different than any other day.

If you could have a lifetime supply of your favorite sweet indulgence, what would it be?
Snickers, definitely!

Is there any sweet treat you absolutely do not like?
Black liquorice. I’m with you, Kailani, on this one. :)

If you fell into a pool of chocolate, how would you get out?
Well, if it’s dark chocolate, I’d just wait until someone found me.

Go ahead ~ now it’s your turn.

My Favorite Christmas Ornaments

Tuesday, December 18th, 2007

I saw this cool post over at Deb-Mom of 3 Girls, and really wanted to participate.

This year has been a little different for me. A good different. :) I was part of Kailani’s Christmas Ornament exchange and it was a blast. I love meeting new blogging friends.

Well, I have several favorites, so here we go.

Pink elephant ornament

This my friends, is from my first ornament exchange partner, Victoria. Isn’t it tooo cute. I did tell her my favorite colors are pink and purple. :)

Cross ornament

Now this one, on a serious note, is also from Victoria. Isn’t it beautiful?!

Hawaiian ornament

Just guess who this one’s from. Yep, my blogging friend, Kailani. I was lucky and got to have 2 ornament exchange partners. When I get cold, I’ll just look at this ornament. :)

Crystal ornament

This is probably my very favorite. It’s a beautiful crystal ornament that Bob and I purchased together.

Santa ornament

This is one Bob got for me. He knows I love pink Santa’s. :)

Thanks for sharing some of my favorite things with me.
