More reason to do your research

Sunday, July 13th, 2008

Speaking of finding the best diet pill, for your situation, I just found a site that actually gives information on a ton of different types of pills.

I had no idea how many different types of diet pills there are out there.

They have fat burners, cheap diet pills, Biblical pills, curb your carbs pills, nite trim pills and I could go on and on.

Even more reason to be very sure you know what is in each pill and remember, eating right and exercise is always a good way to go.

Not all diet pills are the same

Many consumers would like to find diet pills that work well without being harmful to their body.

It’s so important that we’re completely aware of exactly what we put into our body.

Over the years, some diet pills have been found to be harmful; however, if you do your research, you can know exactly what you’re taking.

Check out internet sites especially for consumers, to find out what is best for your situation.

Life Insurance Coverage

Sunday, July 13th, 2008

Although life insurance no medical exam is not often available to older people, some companies do provide it.

However, if one looks quite hard, it can be found and give the peace of mind to know that everything will be taken care of when you’re gone.

We all hope to leave no burden on our loved ones, should we pass on, and life insurance is one way that that may be accomplished.

Lately, we’ve been thinking about getting a new vacuum, but there are so many to choose from.

Vacuum

One thing I’ve figured out is, with all the dust and pet hair around here, I’m gonna have to get a really good one.

I recently heard about Sebo vacuums.

Apparently they’re pretty well know in Europe for reliability, longevity and value pricing. One thing I definitely like about them is the hepa filter they have.

We do have a hepa filter on our current vacuum, and I really love it.

What do you think?? Do you have a vacuum you really love?

Christmas in July…

Monday, July 7th, 2008

I know it’s a little early, but I’m thinking, Christmas, already. :) We really don’t exchange gifts with folks other than our kids.

You may recall the system we got them last year. And they love it, but what now?

I’m am so dumb when it comes to gaming systems, but I’ve heard the xbox 360 is a great system for games, music and movies.

xbox

You can play games and voice/video/text/ chat with family and friends at the same time, too!

Way too much for me, but do you think this is something my kids would like for Christmas?

I guess I’d better ask them. heehee

Problems with Vista???

Monday, July 7th, 2008

You may recall I got a new laptop computer a while back. It’s been ok, and has plenty of
laptop memory, but I have had a few problems.

Laptop

I’m thinking it’s a Micro Soft problem/s. When I ordered it, I had to have Vista put on it, along with Outlook 2007. BTW – it’s a Dell.

For a while it would crash randomly while I was working on the internet, but that seems to have gotten better.

Now it crashes occasionally when I’m in Outlook. Any ideas? How do you feel about Vista?? I’m having a hard time getting used to it. What about you?

Mom's ring

They say diamonds are a girl’s best friend. Well I don’t know about all that, but diamonds are my favorite gem.
Especially diamond rings.

I’ve always loved rings and in my opinion, you can’t beat a nice diamond ring. The bigger the better. :)

For years, I would buy cubic zirconium’s, always looking forward to the day I’d have my own diamond ring.

Well, the day came in an unexpected way. When my mom died. She knew how much I love diamonds and left me her beautiful solitaire diamond wedding ring. What a wonderful treasure.

Of course, I’d rather have my mom, but what a momentous gift she left me to remember her by. Thanks mom

Exotic Vacations…..

Monday, July 7th, 2008

Well, it’s that time of year again. Yep, time to look for travel deals.

Greek Island

As I grow older, I long for more luxurious and exotic vacations.

Recently I was looking at Mediterranean vacation packages and some of the pictures are just beautiful. And the accommodations can be as elaborate as one could hope for.

However, I’ve never traveled to Europe, or any place else for that matter, so it’s kinda scary for me.

What kind of experiences had you had in your travels? Do you think there’s a need to be afraid?

No wine-ing allowed…

Saturday, June 21st, 2008

My daughter and son-in-law love a nice glass of wine occasionally. They live in California and have the opportunity of wine tasting and have even thought of joining a California wine club.

They know the best wines from that area and enjoy trying new ones as well. Although I don’t drink wine, they’ll tell me which wine tastes best with which meal.

Every once in a while, I’ll join them in a sip, and have actually enjoyed having a little celebration with them.

Swinging into the past….

Swing set

I remember when my grandkids were just little. Bob and I wanted to get them a swing set. After looking at many swing sets, we decided on a red, white and blue one. It had a slide, tire, ladder, bars and 2 swings.

They loved it and actually played with it for so many years, that we had to take it down, because they were swinging so high, the swing set would almost tumble over.

What fun memories I have of those days; a time when we lived closer together and saw each other more often.

But there’s no going back, so I enjoy every moment with them. Watching them grow up is incredible. I love them more than they know. xoxoxo
