The more I blog, the more I love it. I’ve met so many wonderful giving people. Here’s a way you can participate in giving and it doesn’t cost a thing. :) Simply follow the directions below. Thank to Holly for posting and Kelly for hosting.

Empowering Youth, Inc, is sponsoring an effort to raise funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Last year, “Linking for Dollars” raised $500! You can help. Empowering Youth will pay one dollar to St. Jude, just for posting this announcement. Details are

Especially Heather

Monday, December 17th, 2007

Especially Heather has a blog I look forward to reading each morning. If you didn’t know, Heather has gone through things most of us can’t even imagine.

But God…….Isn’t that the way it is. Her love of God overflows through each word she writes. And His presence is felt as I read them.

Through her writing, God is teaching me many things. We need to live on higher ground. Oh, for sure, we all have our heartache and struggles. And even with God in our lives, we still don’t always overcome, but it’s so wonderful to know that we can start new every day, in His strength.

I would love the opportunity to thank Heather for allowing the grace of God to shine through her sorrow in a ways that bless my life. Thanks Heather. I’ll be praying for you. May you experience the love I feel in my heart for you.

The following song was listed in one of her posts and I just had to share it with you. May God richly bless you during this season, as we celebrate His birth. God bless you.

Greeting the morning in prayer…
Posted on December 13th, 2007 by Especially Heather

I know most of you are following closely the story of Kate and her lobectomy. I was sadden this morning to read that she still didn’t have control over her left side, but encouraged that she had feeling. I am also encouraged with the way that Dave, her husband is handling this, him and Mark have so much in common. To read the entire post please see

Davis FamilyThe Davis family, Ray and Regina reside in New York and have 5 children. Ray was hurt on the job and is fighting Workman’s Comp. They are battling the financial struggles. They lost their home and all their belongings. Regina was a stay at home mom, and is now walking 3 miles to and from work each day. This goes beyond the need for a Christmas for their children; this is a situation of survival. To find out how you can help, visit Help Regina.
