My daughter gave me this beautiful ring for my birthday. Isn’t is gorgeous?! I have the best daughter in the world.

You may be thinking, What does that have to do with Remember When. Well, I’m gonna tell you right now.

As I was wearing this pretty ring, I noticed it was a little loose. As I thought about getting it sized, the synapse in my brain began jumping all over and ended up back when I was in high school.

Which lead me to the question, Do you remember when, whether in high school or college, that boys would give their class ring to the girl they wanted to call their own? Of course, the ring was way to big for the girl, so she would find some feathery type yarn, and wrap it around and around the ring shank, until the loops of yarn grew big enough to make the ring smaller, thus fitting her.

Now, I’m not exactly sure why my mind went in that direction, but it made me “remember when”.
